Skill Level: Beginner and beyond. 100s of complete beginners have sewn this dress. No tricky closures like zips or buttonholes. While some finishes like inseam pockets may be new, there's a how-to video and detailed illustrations to guide you. Customers say they “learned new finishes” and that the video made them “super easy.” For extra confidence, this dress pairs well with the bold one how to sew club online course to learn the basics. 

Sizes: 6-30 (fits up to 141 cm / 55.5inch bust) A-C cup + D cup (full bust adjustment included) . 

Fabric suggestions: You will need 4 metres of woven fabric. Gsm of around 160, and a fabric width of at least 132cm wide. Linen, Cotton, cotton poplin, Viscose, tencil lyocell, silk and more. Light to medium weight fabrics. Medium weight (linens + Cottons) suggested for beginners. 

Gracie Wrap:
A gathered waist for fullness in its shorter lengths: above-knee, mid thigh, and top length. Includes short puff or long shirred-cuff sleeves, with multiple necklines.
 

Rossi & Fredy Wrap:
A princess-seamed dress to give slimness in the waist and fullness in the longer above ankle length. Fredy = sleeves; Rossi = sleeveless. Includes optional leg split, shoulder ties, and multiple neckline and sleeves.

All patterns have options to suit different heights.

The Gracie Wrap features a relaxed fit, pulled on overhead and cinched with our signature waist wraps for a flattering shape. 

The bundle includes options for necklines, sleeves, waist wraps, and skirt lengths to suit your height, plus a Lydia Crop variation (details in images). Most customers create two or more unique looks from this pattern. A full video tutorial on the sewing is included for those nervous beginners.

Large canvas and borders for scrolling, patterns centred down the page the orientation and order they should be cut, all patterns on the full with a centre line incase cutting on fold is desired, full grid layer, thicker lines than standard to be visible when cutting.
