This pattern doesn't get enough attention! I love that slit and the elastic waistband. Unfortunately, I live in the north, so I can't wear it all year round. This skirt is an absolute favorite of mine!

This pattern is great! So easy to follow and incredibly versatile depending on what fabric /slit vs no slit. I used cotton linen and chose the slit version and will be making more!

The video was so good to follow along. I’ve had a lessons now but the gathering was new to me and I managed it with the guide. I left it at the longest, may take it up. I didn’t love there gathered back, not my style, so will look to make another version adapting maybe with a zip. Thank you!

Charlotte skirt pattern. I was so eager to get into sewing, I didn’t sit and follow the course like any good student. Getting straight into cutting fabric and sewing pieces together was so easy and if I did make a mistake (not cut enough waist ties or not notch the fabric) it was really simple to figure out what went wrong without needing to re do everything again

Pattern was absolutely great and I really love the fit. I’ve already started my second! Lots of easy but super useful skills to learn! The little details like the ruffle on the back waist band and the ties make it so unique! I will be honest I didn’t read the instructions carefully, so I accidentally cut the ties single instead of on the fold. I improvised with the fabric I had left and cut one on the cross grain (I think I might be the only person who would notice though lol).
