Every detail has been considered so that even customers who have never sewn before have whipped this beauty up! This pattern has incorporated over 200 at-home sewers suggestions creating the perfect pattern. Customers have been saying "I have never made anything I love this much", and "Super easy pattern to follow and I love all the options that come with the bundle package..." See the reviews at the bottom of the page.

About the style

The Gracie Wrap is a crowd favourite tbo style that originated in our Made To Order collection. It is a relaxed fit that is pulled on over your head, and secured with the waist wrap to create that flattering fit. The bundle has front and back neckline options, sleeve options, waist wrap options and above-the-knee / mid-thigh skirt length options that are catered to your height. There is also a Lydia Crop option (specs found in images). On average, customers have created at least two different looks from this pattern, if not more.

Whichever customisations you choose, your Gracie will have that signature tbo look with the classic tbo waist wraps, seen crossed over at the front creating effortlessly soft structured folds and tied to fit.

Level: Confident Beginner +

Being a pull over your head style, there are no tricky closures such as zips or button holes. There may be some finishes, such as inseam pockets you may not have done before, and for that reason I have created a how-to video, along with written  detailed illustrations to reference. Customers have said they "learnt new finishes with this pattern" and "finishes were made so easy with the sew along video."

Sizing

This pattern comes with sizes 6-30, with separate A-C cup and D+ (full bust adjustment) patterns for each size. For extra clarification, your bust measurement is the measurement that should primarily determine your size. Check out the size chart in the photos to see how to get this measurement. Update: Customers will receive ALL sizes in your pattern files.

Fabric Requirements

You will need 4 metres of woven fabric. We suggest a gsm of around 160, and a fabric width of at least 132cm wide.

My hope is that everyone who creates with these patterns continues our pledge to only use natural fabrics; linen, hemp, cotton (organic cotton if you can), OR repurposed or second-hand material if that isn’t in your budget (thrift shop finds are some of my favourite, who would ever guess you can make such beautiful pieces out of duvet covers and sheets!). I promise it is worth it and will mean your dress will last that much longer, and is kinder to the planet and the humans who craft your fabrics.

Terms

Being a product that is emailed to you automatically once you place your order, as with most pdf patterns, this product is non refundable. However, please do email freedom@theboldone.co.nz if you have any issues with your order.

Great for all skill levels!

I loved making this dress, it was so easy to follow and the online sew-along made it so enjoyable. A project I would recommend to sewers of all abilities! I can’t wait to make another version!

Amazing pattern

I just love my new dress. This pattern is everything I love in a dress - big sleeves, no zips, no buttons, waist ties to show shape. A lovely make and great instructions with lots of different options.

Excellent pattern, so rewarding!

I'm a beginner-intermediate sewer. The YouTube tutorial was so helpful, and between that and the pattern I've been able to create 3 gorgeous garments. The pattern bundle is great value for money, as you can make a bunch of customisations.

Stunning dress

From the moment I saw this dress I knew I wanted the pattern. I thought it would be too hard for me to make as a beginner. But the instructions and videos were amazing. And I have already made 3 dresses and a top! My favourite was made recycling a quilt cover, the Gracie makes for a perfect upcycle!
